3 Fall Recipes From An Expert Barista

From not-so-average pumpkin spice lattes to spicy & floral twists on cold brew, Odeko’s very own LaChrista McArthur (@lachrista_m) compiled a list of three of her cult favorite recipes to experiment with this season. Find all of the seasonal ingredients listed below in Odeko’s Catalog, available for overnight local delivery across the nation. 

• 4oz cold brew
• 2oz pineapple juice
• 2oz aquafaba
• 3/4oz Monin Cranberry Syrup
• Shake all ingredients together, add a spritz of grapefruit, and serve.

“This drink was a play on the crowd favorite pumpkin latte, mixed with the classic buttered rum cocktail. Together they create one beautiful fall drink!”

• 1/2 oz Hollander Caramel Syrup
• 1/2 oz pistachio syrup
• double espresso
• 5 - 8 oz of oat milk
• Garnish with ground cardamom and serve

LaChrista’s Inspiration:

“A caramel latte is always a fun drink, at any point of the year, but I wanted to create something that was nostalgic of fall in the south. Fun colors from rides, the scent of roasted nuts, and caramel covered everything.” 

• 1/2oz of Rum brown sugar simple syrup (rum extract mixed with simple syrup)
• 3/4oz 1883 Pumpkin Spice
• 5 - 8 oz of alt milk of choice
• Garnish the rim of the cup with marshmallow fluff, then dip in ground cookie crumbs and serve

“I aimed to create a drink that expressed that reluctance to leave the summer behind, a drink that makes you miss the warmth of the summer sun, yet excited for the crisp, leaf-filled breeze to come."
